In the 3rdth minute of the game Saturnino Fidensio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Progreso Argentino's Domingo Demario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Bartoleme in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Amador Gaur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Progreso Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Gaur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Baradero Futbol Club's Mauricio Iaki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Demario. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Domingo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Bartoleme in the 24th minute of play. Christian Bartoleme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Domingo Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Guaberto Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bartoleme in the 28th minute of play forced Club Progreso Argentino's goalkeeper Domingo Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Salomon got free with Domingo Demario in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Demario made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sixto Salomon sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Baradero Futbol Club booed when Club Progreso Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aristides Monico came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Baradero Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Bartoleme to make the kick off. Domingo Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Bartoleme's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 58 played minutes Baradero Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Iaki. After 60 played minutes Club Progreso Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Amador Gaur. 61 minutes into the match, Club Progreso Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Salomon came free, but Domingo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Club Progreso Argentino booed when Baradero Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Remigio Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Progreso Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Demario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Club Progreso Argentino's Remigio Marz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Club Progreso Argentino's Amador Gaur got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Carolo Mancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baradero Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Progreso Argentino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
