After having played for 10 minutes, Candido Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Roja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Estrella Roja booed when Barcelona V. Paranacito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Jacob scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Ledesma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes in the game, Manuel Unai fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jesus Tavio having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Barcelona V. Paranacito's Baldomero Virila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Marcelo Nastasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella Roja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona V. Paranacito the free kick. The supporters of Barcelona V. Paranacito booed when Estrella Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee gave Estrella Roja a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristian Balendin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcelona V. Paranacito's Jesus Tavio. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Virila to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Candido Tomi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella Roja and the Barcelona V. Paranacito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Estrella Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Tomi to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Ledesma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrella Roja's goalkeeper Antonio Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Baldomero Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Ledesma having to interfere. Antonio Ledesma came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona V. Paranacito's Apolo Jacob. But to his dismay, Apolo Jacob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Placido Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Unai struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jesus Tavio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Roja. If Apolo Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Ledesma having to interfere. When Cosme Montez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barcelona V. Paranacito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Montez couldn't finish the play. Estrella Roja's Antonio Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Virila in the 96th minute of play. Manuel Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Estrella Roja were the better team. Estrella Roja's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
