Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Placido Cuartio kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, Estrella Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cuartio to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Eleder in the 9th minute of the match. Manuel Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landetta's Arnulfo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Cuartio in the 16th minute of play. Anier Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute of the match, Anier Eleder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Ledesma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th match minute, Estrella Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Balendin to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Eleder, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Anier Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Estrella Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Eriz to maneuver through the defense. The corner led to Landetta's Julian Oriol getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Eleder in the 40th minute of play forced Estrella Roja's goalkeeper Antonio Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Anier Eleder fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Landetta's zone, Placido Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Izel came out of the goal and Placido Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Severo Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Eleder made a kick off. Estrella Roja's Antonio Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Iturri in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Placido Cuartio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arnulfo Izel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Estrella Roja's Antonio Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eleder in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Candido Tomi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella Roja and the Landetta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja's Candido Tomi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ramon Gonsalve's late challenge caught a Landetta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Gonsalve helped the player get up and apologised. Anier Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. Chants of Estrella Roja echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Landetta had held the ball for most of the match.
