Danilo Boni started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Estrella Roja getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ramon Gonsalve hit a great ball. Balcozna FC's Placido Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Cuartio in the 7th minute of play. A hard shot 9 in the game by Manuel Unai from a close distance when the talented Placido Atarratze managed to make a qualified save. Balcozna FC's players were relieved. After 11 played minutes Placido Cuartio rounded Balcozna FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a little luck, Balcozna FC's Placido Atarratze got control of the ball when Candido Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Placido Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Unai got free with Placido Atarratze in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Atarratze made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Manuel Unai sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Danilo Boni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balcozna FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Balcozna FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ulises Rocio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Balcozna FC defense, Manuel Unai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Atarratze. The Balcozna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Atarratze should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Placido Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Cuartio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Atarratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Cuartio to make the kick off. The supporters of Estrella Roja booed when Balcozna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Placido Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Atarratze having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Boni in the 57th minute of play forced Estrella Roja's goalkeeper Antonio Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Balcozna FC defense, Manuel Unai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Atarratze. The Balcozna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Atarratze should have stopped the shot. Manuel Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Atarratze having to interfere. If Manuel Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balcozna FC booed when Estrella Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Ledesma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Suarez in the 69th minute. If Cornelio Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Boni came free, but Antonio Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Lesardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Placido Atarratze. Balcozna FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Placido Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Danilo Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Cuartio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Placido Atarratze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Roja. In the 90th minute Placido Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Atarratze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Unai's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Estrella Roja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
