Ulises Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Baradero Futbol Club booed when Balcozna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Rocio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Balcozna FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Enetz. The long shot by Aristides Monico in the 19th minute really tested Placido Atarratze's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Balcozna FC's Placido Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bartoleme in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Christian Bartoleme rounded Balcozna FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Mauricio Iaki kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Baradero Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Boni came free, but Ovidio Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Atarratze having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The nice shot from Cornelio Suarez in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ovidio Cruz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Balcozna FC's Danilo Boni got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bartoleme in the 60th minute of play forced Balcozna FC's goalkeeper Placido Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Balcozna FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alberto Onbera hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cornelio Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Cruz. Baradero Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 69th minute, Ulises Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ovidio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Baradero Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Monico to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Baradero Futbol Club booed when Balcozna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Salomon in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Atarratze saved Balcozna FC from getting behind. Balcozna FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
