Tortugas FC's Lisandro Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Gartzea in the 3rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Gartzea couldn't finish the play. Siro Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Otsando having to interfere. Lisandro Otsando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Gartzea in the 15th minute of play. Roberto Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Siro Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes of play, Asantar FC's Siro Gartzea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Otsando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. When Jairo Gabrio fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tortugas FC's protests and gave Jairo Gabrio a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 minutes of play, Asantar FC's Aristides Nastasio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Asantar FC booed when Tortugas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Tortugas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Gartzea came free, but Lisandro Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Ibon in the 60th minute of play forced Asantar FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
