Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Vikings's Godofredo Gai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pastor Ixidor made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabio Chepe immediately put the ball in play. Feliciano Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Ciro Utd's Bruno Conti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pastor Ixidor in the 8 minute of the game. Feliciano Beturian came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen. But to his dismay, Marco Van Der Taelen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Gai to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Van Der Taelen in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Beturian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen managed to work through Vikings's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marco Van Der Taelen dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 17 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lucila. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Van Der Taelen in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Beturian saved Vikings from getting behind. Marco Van Der Taelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Beturian having to interfere. Feliciano Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 27th minute of play. Marco Van Der Taelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Beturian having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Van Der Taelen came free, but Feliciano Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliciano Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Van Der Taelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Van Der Taelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Beturian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Van Der Taelen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Marco Van Der Taelen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Ciro Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. San Ciro Utd's Marco Van Der Taelen got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vikings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Ciro Utd were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Marco Van Der Taelen made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Ionuț Corbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Ciro Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Corbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vikings's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marco Van Der Taelen 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Eusebio Chuan fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 66th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Marco Van Der Taelen scored 0-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Beturian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliciano Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Van Der Taelen went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After having played for 74 minutes, Ionuț Corbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Ciro Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Corbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Ixidor's late challenge caught a San Ciro Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Ixidor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of San Ciro Utd booed when Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Marco Van Der Taelen made a precise shot to the right of Feliciano Beturian. Vikings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. With a little luck, Vikings's Feliciano Beturian got control of the ball when Marco Van Der Taelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Van Der Taelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Beturian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Van Der Taelen ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Van Der Taelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Feliciano Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Beturian. The goal made the score 0-8.
