Languileo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Froilan Iraunkor 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Pastor Derwin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Diablos FC.'s Guaberto Endira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Valiente in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Valiente in the 26th minute of play forced Diablos FC.'s goalkeeper Guaberto Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC.'s Pastor Derwin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rolando Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Endira having to interfere. Diablos FC.'s Godofredo Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match, Froilan Iraunkor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Joey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Godofredo Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Iraunkor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
