Cristian Jobo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Pudes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Esteban Txatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redonda FC's Vicente Chico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Saul Odol made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Freddy Enol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fredriksson AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redonda FC the free kick. After 52 played minutes Fredriksson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Enol. If Cristian Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Vicente Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fredriksson AFC booed when Redonda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteban Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredriksson AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
