Diablos FC.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vikings's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Froilan Iraunkor 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Diablos FC.'s Froilan Iraunkor in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Feliciano Beturian was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vikings through an amazing save. Guaberto Endira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Gai's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Diablos FC. got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Donio. If Godofredo Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godofredo Gai came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Gai couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Godofredo Gai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vikings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Froilan Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Christian Lucila from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Endira managed to make a qualified save. Diablos FC.'s players were relieved. In the 61st minute Godofredo Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Lucila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guaberto Endira firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Iraunkor in the 67th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Feliciano Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vikings getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Christian Lucila hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Christian Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Farias in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Beturian saved Vikings from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Carlos Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Diablos FC. got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Derwin. Christian Lucilas short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Guaberto Endira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christian Lucila might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Endira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Lucila ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Diablos FC.'s zone, Godofredo Gai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Endira came out of the goal and Godofredo Gai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Godofredo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Diablos FC. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
