Ariel Pes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Endira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pastor Derwin's late challenge caught a Lozano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Diablos FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Derwin to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Derwin was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Lozano booed when Diablos FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Lozano's Ariel Pes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Endira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Remigio Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC.'s Gaspar Donio got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 38 played minutes Diablos FC. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Florian. Lozano's Remigio Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, one of Diablos FC.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carmelo Romano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Godofredo Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Silvanito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Cordarell to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC.'s Edgard Farias got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Remigio Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Guaberto Endira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Remigio Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Damian Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos FC.'s protests and gave Damian Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Diablos FC. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Damian Corderun hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Diablos FC.'s Gaspar Donio in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ariel Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Eguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Endira having to interfere. When Ariel Pes came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lozano fans jumped to their feet.
