After having played for 37 minutes, Saturnino Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Erramu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vicente Chico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tipal AFC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Jaime Errolan fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tipal AFC's protests and gave Jaime Errolan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Redonda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Jobo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Redonda FC's zone, Aquiles Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The penalty shot was made by Saturnino Erramu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Redonda FC's Vicente Chico. 0-3. In the 79th minute, Aquiles Ospetsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Vicente Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Ospetsu in the 83rd minute of play. Mauricio Ponciano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Vicente Chico 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Redonda FC booed when Tipal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vicente Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Ponciano got free with Vicente Chico in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Tipal AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Redonda FC.
