Lázaro Jax took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elpidio Daunte. Salmoneros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Freddy Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Salmoneros's Elpidio Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Urbes in the 43rd minute of play. The Salmoneros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chacras were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Bartoleme to make the kick off. Elpidio Daunte came out of the goal and Jaime Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Moises Cresenciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacras and the Salmoneros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Chacras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Cresenciano. 96 minutes into the match, Salmoneros's Delmar Bartoleme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Lope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chacras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
