But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Hartz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Torres in the 15th minute of play forced la juve's goalkeeper Mauro Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mauro Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, la juve's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Hartz came free, but Mauro Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nicasio Torres sped through la juve's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Otsoa. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Otsoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Hartz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Otsoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind la juve's goalkeeper Mauro Otsoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celso Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to la juve getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Celso Xacintu hit a great ball. Mauro Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Hartz in the 44th minute of the match. Jaime Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mario Alberto Kempes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mauro Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eustaquio Hartz sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th play minute Efrain Pirro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mauro Otsoa. 0-4. Jaime Isusko took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Alberto Kempes. Mario Alberto Kempes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Eustaquio Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Otsoa having to interfere. Mauro Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eustaquio Hartz sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, San Nicolás de los Arroyo's Eustaquio Hartz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5.
