Conlara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Unai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Unai might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Ipar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Unai ran back to his position shaking his head. When Paulino Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Corona Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Lawrence couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Corona Central's goalkeeper Cayetano Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Navarro. Gilberto Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Emilio Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Emilio Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Conlara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Navarro couldn't finish the play. Corona Central's Cayetano Ipar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Corona Central from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Unai to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Nestor Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilio Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Adan Flores threw the ball into play from the sideline. Conlara's Martin Ladio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 67 minutes into the match, Martin Ladio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Corona Central's Cayetano Ipar. Cayetano Ipar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Ipar having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Nestor Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Conlara got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Tabor. Cayetano Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Unai in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Emilio Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Nestor Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conlara's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute of the match Lino Ponciano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Ipar skillfully saved the ball. Conlara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
