Mauro Domenec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Allen. 13 minutes into the game, Allen's Filomeno Urki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Domenec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ubaldo Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Mauro Domenec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Filomeno Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Allen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Oscar Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Ihazintu to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Arauco FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Petri. After 57 played minutes Allen got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Bastiaro. After a rather tough play, Arauco FC's Paulino Petri got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes Arauco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camilo Fagildo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Allen's Camilo Fagildo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Domenec despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mauro Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes Arauco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camilo Fagildo who took care of the corner kick. Ubaldo Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Urki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Domenec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ubaldo Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mauro Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Uxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Allen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
