After a rather tough play, Ananá's Florencio Llin got a free kick in the 10th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Ananá's goalkeeper Gonzalo Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Osmundo. If Arnulfo Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Agustin Santio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Valiente. victoriano arenas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Santio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to victoriano arenas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fabricio Columbo hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, victoriano arenas's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Orti came free, but Celestino Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Tonete, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ananá's goalkeeper Gonzalo Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Osmundo. In the 26th minute Tobias Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ananá's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Tonete came free, but Gonzalo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Victoriano Osmundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The victoriano arenas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Victoriano Osmundo in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonzalo Acosta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tobias Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. victoriano arenas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Acosta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Acosta having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Orti to make the kick off. Ulises Urtzi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Victoriano Osmundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Acosta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Tobias Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gonzalo Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Israel Pirmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Tonete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Acosta having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Victoriano Osmundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Acosta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gonzalo Acosta came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by victoriano arenas's Tobias Tonete. But to his dismay, Tobias Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Victoriano Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gonzalo Acosta came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by victoriano arenas's Fabricio Columbo. But to his dismay, Fabricio Columbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Victoriano Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Acosta having to interfere. Tobias Tonete struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gonzalo Acosta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for victoriano arenas. In the 87thth minute of the game Tobias Tonete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ananá's Gonzalo Acosta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florencio Llin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Celestino Valiente made a huge save. Gonzalo Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Bortzaioriz in the 93rd minute of play. Ananá's Gonzalo Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Osmundo in the 95th minute of play. victoriano arenas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
