Flavio Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Gilberto Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horacio Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Roca's goalkeeper Flavio Sauveur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Rumaldo came free, but Flavio Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Gilberto Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Maradona F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Gonza to maneuver through the defense. If Gilberto Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Maradona F.C.'s Horacio Rumaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Horacio Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Gonza in the 37th minute of play. Flavio Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Rumaldo in the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Hilario Bautista made the kick off in the second half. Horacio Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Flavio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Rumaldo got free with Flavio Sauveur in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Maradona F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Gonza. Flavio Sauveur came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Maradona F.C.'s Romeo Patxi. But to his dismay, Romeo Patxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gilberto Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match, Gilberto Gonza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Sauveur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 74 minutes of play, Maradona F.C.'s Gilberto Gonza made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Sauveur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maradona F.C.'s Romeo Patxi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Roca. Flavio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Gonza in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Roca getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roman Izotz hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Gilberto Gonza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Horacio Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maradona F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
