The ÑANDUBAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Igon should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Abelardo Florinio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonzalo Acosta, 2-1. Ananá's Gonzalo Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Florinio in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Pirmin during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Ananá got a freekick which was hit by Israel Pirmin. Jairo Galindo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 31 minutes into the match, Ananá's goalkeeper Gonzalo Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Galindo. When Prospero Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ananá's protests and gave Prospero Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ananá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Orti made a kick off. Gonzalo Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Otsoko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ÑANDUBAY's zone, Melquiades Sotero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Igon came out of the goal and Melquiades Sotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ananá's Florencio Llin got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Eriberto Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ÑANDUBAY booed when Ananá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ananá's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Florinio came free, but Gonzalo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Ananá's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Otsoko came free, but Gonzalo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Florinio in the 87th minute of play forced Ananá's goalkeeper Gonzalo Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ananá's Gonzalo Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Ikatz in the 93rd minute of play. Abelardo Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Acosta having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ÑANDUBAY had played much better football throughout.
