Ceferino Dayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Flavio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Dayam was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Surisaltana FC's Arturo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Roca's Flavio Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Dayam in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Roca defense, Arturo Abajas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Sauveur. The Deportivo Roca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Sauveur should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Surisaltana FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arsenio Dalmau hit a great ball. Joaquin Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Dayam came free, but Flavio Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Bautista to make the kick off. Flavio Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Dayam in the 53rd minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play Surisaltana FC's Emiliano Kismi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Arturo Abajas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Sauveur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Arsenio Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Calixto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Flavio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Abajas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Arturo Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Abajas came free, but Flavio Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Surisaltana FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
