In the 11th minute Osvaldo Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pitin in the 12th minute of play forced Potrerillo's goalkeeper Rafael Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Moise having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Potrerillo's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Corderro came free, but Rafael Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes in the game, Francisco Claris fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcelino Moise having to interfere. When Francisco Claris came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Potrerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Claris couldn't finish the play. Camilo Pitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Claris struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcelino Moise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrerillo. After 33 minutes, Nicolas Tebaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentina Legends FC and the Potrerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Argentina Legends FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diego Ilixo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Osvaldo Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Hotz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Corderro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Claus having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Pitin to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Osvaldo Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rafael Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Potrerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Charro to maneuver through the defense. When Francisco Claris fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillo's protests and gave Francisco Claris a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Potrerillo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Francisco Claris hit a great ball. Diego Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Moise having to interfere. When Potrerillo's Francisco Claris in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Potrerillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ilixo in the 75th minute of play forced Argentina Legends FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Corderro got free with Rafael Claus in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
