Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Francisco Claris started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Constantino Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Diego Ilixo sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Claris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Claris in the 8th minute of play forced YOLY FC's goalkeeper Constantino Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Ilixo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Rocendo. Constantino Rocendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute of the match Amado Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Rocendo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Arnaldo Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YOLY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo's Niceto Nataniel got a free kick in the 27th minute. Arnaldo Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Pedro Remicio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YOLY FC and the Potrerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Francisco Claris might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Rocendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Claris ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hector Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. YOLY FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Potrerillo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justino Erramu took the corner. When Arnaldo Ariando came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the YOLY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Ariando couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Constantino Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Diego Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Rocendo having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Potrerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Arias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Potrerillo booed when YOLY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Ariando struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rafael Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YOLY FC. In the 80th minute Hector Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Rafael Claus managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when YOLY FC's Arnaldo Ariando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Oto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Claus having to make a save. Constantino Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
