In the 14th minute Evelio Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Uxio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Evelio Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Cresenciano charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Cresenciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute Vicente Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Azulgranaz's Vicente Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Telesforo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Maiorga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Casimiro Pirro made a huge save. When Evelio Frasquito came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Azulgranaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Frasquito couldn't finish the play. Evelio Frasquito struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Diego Telesforo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azulgranaz. Diego Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Frasquito in the 36th minute of play. Vicente Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Telesforo having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, El Velez de Bianchi's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Osasun came free, but Diego Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Frasquito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Velez de Bianchi's goalkeeper Diego Telesforo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes El Velez de Bianchi got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Nuno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Osasun in the 48th minute of play forced El Velez de Bianchi's goalkeeper Diego Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Frasquito was the one to do the kick off. Diego Telesforo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Osasun in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, El Velez de Bianchi's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Frasquito came free, but Diego Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Hermon might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Pirro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robustiano Hermon ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Pirro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Hermon went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Azulgranaz's Vicente Osasun got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Roque Uxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Frasquito in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th of the match, Evelio Frasquito tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Diego Telesforo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Evelio Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Velez de Bianchi players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
