The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bonifacio Tauros short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Casimiro Pirro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eustaquio Emenon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Eustaquio Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Frasquito in the 13th minute of the match. Azulgranaz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaston Pierres in the 14th minute. The corner led to Azulgranaz's Lino Venerando getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bonifacio Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Casimiro Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Pirro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Tauro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Bonifacio Tauro struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Casimiro Pirro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alta Cordoba FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Osasun in the 28th minute of play forced Alta Cordoba FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Azulgranaz got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Frasquito. Bonifacio Tauros short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Casimiro Pirro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Azulgranaz's Casimiro Pirro got control of the ball when Bonifacio Tauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 played minutes, Azulgranaz's Carlos Arias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustaquio Emenon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azulgranaz reached it. Eustaquio Emenon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Orlondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alta Cordoba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azulgranaz were winning 0-1.

If Evelio Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Generoso Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alta Cordoba FC's Generoso Orain got a free kick in the 58th minute. Azulgranaz's Casimiro Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Tauro in the 61st minute of play. Azulgranaz's Guaberto Orlondon pulled a muscle in his back after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 64th minute, Teodoro Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Bonifacio Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Venerando charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Venerando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bonifacio Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Casimiro Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Tauro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Pirro saved Azulgranaz from getting behind. With a little luck, Alta Cordoba FC's Eustaquio Emenon got control of the ball when Vicente Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Carlos Arias from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Eustaquio Emenon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 84 minutes into the match, Teodoro Caton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casimiro Pirro. Azulgranaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Caton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Vicente Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Osasun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Emenon made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Azulgranaz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
