In the 39th minute, El Burrito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santiago Reno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulino Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victoriano Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Golden Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Lluis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in El Burrito FC's zone, Rodrigo Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Dantel came out of the goal and Rodrigo Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Burrito FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Manuel Orlondo hit a great ball. El Burrito FC's Paulino Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Reno in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Santiago Reno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rodrigo Primeiro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Paulino Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Glory. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Primeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Dantel was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Santiago Reno scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Dantel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Golden Glory fully deserved thier win.
