After 16 minutes, Ramon Estevon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the los traperos fc and the capocha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santiago Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Orain in the 32nd minute of the match. If Tobias Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Amadeo Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 80th minute, los traperos fc's Elpidio Guillen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Damario. Santiago Damario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Amadeo Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Cayetano Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. capocha's Tobias Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Lopez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the capocha players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
