An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Leoiar in the 12th minute of play forced Dr. Favaloro's goalkeeper Ruperto Jusepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, German Abad made a precise shot to the right of Julio Cheche. Chapanay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Marciano Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Cheche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Abad in the 21st minute of the match. Fabian Duset hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, German Abad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Julio Cheche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gervasio Cordarell took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Jusepe. Ruperto Jusepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 43rd minute Marciano Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Jusepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ruperto Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chapanay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dr. Favaloro were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Cordarell was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Chapanay's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Jakobe came free, but Julio Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Marciano Leoiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dr. Favaloro's Ruperto Jusepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chapanay's Julio Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Chapanay from getting a goal against them. When Alfredo Chano fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dr. Favaloro's protests and gave Alfredo Chano a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Dr. Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Chano. Ruperto Jusepe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Bruno Mederi made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Jusepe. Dr. Favaloro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. The Chapanay fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Chapanay's Gervasio Cordarell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 6-3 when Gervasio Cordarell sped through Dr. Favaloro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Jusepe. In the 88th minute of the match, German Abad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Cheche was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chapanay's Julio Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Chapanay from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, German Abad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dr. Favaloro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chapanay the free kick. After 92 played minutes Dr. Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by German Abad.
