When Anastasio Ieltxu fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dr. Favaloro's protests and gave Anastasio Ieltxu a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Chano's late challenge caught a Los Cacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Chano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dr. Favaloro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alfredo Chano hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Delmiro Seme sped through Dr. Favaloro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Jusepe. Delmiro Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ruperto Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Los Cacos's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Jakobe came free, but Aureliano Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Seme in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Cacos's Romulo Danel got a free kick in the 29th minute. Delmiro Seme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Romulo Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aureliano Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Cacos booed when Dr. Favaloro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Edgard Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Aureliano Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr. Favaloro. After a rather tough play, Los Cacos's Leonel Favila got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Jonathan Lluciano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Cordaro skillfully saved the ball. Leonel Favila took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Jusepe. Ruperto Jusepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Delmiro Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Abad in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Cordaro saved Los Cacos from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Melquiades Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Abad in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Dr. Favaloro booed when Los Cacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Danel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dr. Favaloro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Cacos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Cacos.
