Los Cacos's Delmiro Seme managed to work through Club Almagro's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Delmiro Seme dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Feliberto Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Favila in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Los Cacos's Delmiro Seme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Cacos's Aureliano Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Los Cacos from getting a goal against them. Melquiades Gar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Feliberto Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Delmiro Seme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Seme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Cacos's Romulo Danel got a free kick in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Los Cacos's goalkeeper Aureliano Cordaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Gustau. Delmiro Seme might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Perrando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Seme ran back to his position shaking his head. If Delmiro Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Xabel made a kick off. Esteve Gustau took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Cordaro. Aureliano Cordaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Delmiro Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Perrando having to interfere. Delmiro Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Feliberto Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Seme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliberto Perrando having to make a save. Feliberto Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Seme did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Feliberto Perrando 67 minutes into the match. Los Cacos's Aureliano Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Xabel in the 76th minute of play. Club Almagro's Feliberto Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Club Almagro from getting a goal against them. Leonel Favila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Perrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Esteve Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Cordaro having to interfere. Los Cacos played a much better game than Club Almagro and deserved their victory. The Club Almagro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
