When Edgardo Illart fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Almagro's protests and gave Edgardo Illart a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mλpuכhes FC booed when Club Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 15th minute Mλpuכhes FC's Clodoveo Inguma took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Feliberto Perrando and thus the score was 2-0. Nereo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliberto Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Club Almagro's Gerardo Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Sabin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jose Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Rey in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mλpuכhes FC defense, Gerardo Rey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Sabin. The Mλpuכhes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Sabin should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Segundo Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Mλpuכhes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Valentine came free, but Jose Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Tavio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Mλpuכhes FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Tavio.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Weather stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gerardo Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Sabin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 52 minutes into the game, Artemio Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mλpuכhes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Almagro the free kick. Artemio Llorienzo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mλpuכhes FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jimeno Tavio hit a great ball. Gerardo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Sabin having to interfere. Feliberto Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mλpuכhes FC's Jimeno Tavio got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Jimeno Tavio off the ground. In the 79th minute, Gerardo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomás Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerardo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Sabin having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Gerardo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Tomás Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Xabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Rey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jose Sabin made a huge save. Mλpuכhes FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Club Almagro had controlled the match.
