Santos Ireno charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Ireno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santos Ireno hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Celestino Hori sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Cipriano Asteri threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Celestino Hori this time. Teobaldo Dino kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Albano Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barranca fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Bernabel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Eladio was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Leonides Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Eladio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barranca fc's zone, Aureliano Bernabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Eladio came out of the goal and Aureliano Bernabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Esquipula kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Gezte's keeper Cipriano Asteri was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Cipriano Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Eufrasio in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Eufrasio in the 36th minute of play forced Gezte's goalkeeper Cipriano Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Esquipula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gezte's zone, Albano Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Asteri came out of the goal and Albano Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Bernabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Bernabel to strike the kick off in the second half. Albano Eufrasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Albano Eufrasio made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Asteri. Gezte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 67th minute Emanuel Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonides Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iker Eladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Bernabel went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Emanuel Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Bernabel in the 84th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Barranca fc could leave the field as winners, despite Gezte having more of the ball for most of the match.
