Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejandro Berart kicked off to start the match. Jesus Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Paz in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute, Alejandro Berart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ladislao Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guayquiraro FC's Freddy Claris managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basilio Manuelo in the 27 minute of the game. Jesus Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Quilino in the 29th minute. Baldomiro Donostia scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislao Ezkerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesus Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Elias Jordy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Ezkerra having to interfere. Freddy Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute Alejandro Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alejandro Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Lertxun was the one to do the kick off. Jesus Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Lertxun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guillermo Lehoi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guayquiraro FC's protests and gave Guillermo Lehoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jarillito booed when Guayquiraro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarillito's Joaquin Belasko got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Nereo Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarillito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Quilino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayquiraro FC's goalkeeper Jesus Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guayquiraro FC's Jesus Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Enaut in the 73rd minute of play. Elias Paz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With his leg Ladislao Ezkerra managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Guayquiraro FC's Alejandro Berart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jarillito's Uriel Enaut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elias Jordy, made in the 77th minute of the game. Uriel Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Elias Paz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jesus Sustrai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Claris struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ladislao Ezkerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guayquiraro FC. Basilio Manuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Sustrai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Jesus Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Many of Guayquiraro FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guayquiraro FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Jarillito were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
