When Elias Jordy came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Guayquiraro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Jordy couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Montel having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Alejandro Berart notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Don Ramon FC's Abelardo Montel. Abelardo Montel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sixto Valentine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ruperto Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jesus Sustrai made a huge save. Jesus Sustrai was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Baldomero Baladi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomero Baladi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Freddy Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Montel having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Don Ramon FC's Baldomero Baladi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Sustrai. Jesus Sustrai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Baldomiro Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Abelardo Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Saturnino Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Alejandro Berart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayquiraro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Berart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Don Ramon FC's zone, Elias Jordy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Montel came out of the goal and Elias Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Elias Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayquiraro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Jordy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Don Ramon FC's Aldo Balendin got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Baladi in the 65th minute of play forced Guayquiraro FC's goalkeeper Jesus Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Escobar in the 69th minute of the match. If Alejandro Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Guayquiraro FC defense, Baldomero Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Sustrai. The Guayquiraro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Sustrai should have stopped the shot.
