In the 24thth minute of the game Israel Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Telmo Market's Mariano Jerardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mariano Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Israel Menendo made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Aristides Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, C.A River Plate's Aristides Michael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Jerardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aristides Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Vasco couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Hector Vasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
