In the 25thth minute of the game Anselmo Lizardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valentino FC's Alvaro Honesto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Lizardi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Honesto saved Valentino FC from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Damian Tadzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alberto renuncia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valentino FC the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Damian Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Hilario Sol sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Humberto Savier threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Hilario Sol this time. After a rather tough play, Valentino FC's Christian Modestio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Lizardi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Honesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Lizardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Honesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Lizardi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Tadzio in the 40th minute of play forced Valentino FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Honorato Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Alberto renuncia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Paublo couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Panpili was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Ermengol in the 53rd minute of the match. The long shot by Abel Remigio in the 60th minute really tested Alvaro Honesto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Niceto Olayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Honesto. Valentino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Olayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Anselmo Lizardi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Honesto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Valentino FC defense, Anselmo Lizardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Honesto. The Valentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Honesto should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Joel Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Panpili in the 76th minute of the match. Alvaro Honesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Anselmo Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alvaro Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Lizardi scored 2-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Honesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
