When Ismael Ovando fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alegre AFC's protests and gave Ismael Ovando a yellow card for diving instead. Geronimo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Silvio Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Bastiaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Artizar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bastiaro in the 27th minute of play forced Stegmann FC's goalkeeper Silvio Artizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Mauricio Semeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stegmann FC and the Alegre AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Alvaro Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Stegmann FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Bittor couldn't finish the play.
