Jeremias Tajo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Raimundo Savion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Tajo having to make a save. Bernardo Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jeremias Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antilla. Raimundo Savion might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Savion ran back to his position shaking his head. Filomeno Garaile struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jeremias Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antilla. After having played for 48 minutes, Filomeno Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-2 became the score in the 57th minute when Filomeno Garaile elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Antilla played a much better game than Club Atlético Madurga and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Madurga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
