After having played for 3 minutes, Bonifacio Bartoleme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muñoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Bartoleme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luisito Joachim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Muñoz's goalkeeper Luisito Joachim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Bastiaro. The long shot by Domingo Macias in the 24th minute really tested Luisito Joachim's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Muñoz's Luisito Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Calixto in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Bonifacio Bartoleme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muñoz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Alegre AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Domingo Macias hit a great ball. Geronimo Calixto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Bonifacio Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Geronimo Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Santo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Muñoz were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Calixto was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Geronimo Calixto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Joachim. Muñoz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Calixto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Victor Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Alegre AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. In the 75th play minute Bonifacio Bartoleme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Santo. 1-3. In the 84th minute, Bonifacio Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Geronimo Calixto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Joachim. Muñoz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Calixto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Emilio Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Perez in the 95th minute of play.
