Bernardo Artaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Artaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th match minute, Alegre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Calixto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Antilla booed when Alegre AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Alegre AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Santo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Garaile. Raimundo Savion struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Emilio Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antilla. If Filomeno Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Raimundo Savion came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Antilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Savion couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Artaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Santo having to make a save. Victor Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Salvator made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Antilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
