An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bastiaro in the 25th minute of play forced Muñoz's goalkeeper Luisito Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alegre AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Domingo Macias hit a great ball. Nestor Ler, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Muñoz's Luisito Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Calixto in the 34th minute of play. Luisito Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Calixto in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Javier Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muñoz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alegre AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Muñoz's Javier Milian got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Mauricio Cordero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Joachim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Geronimo Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Joachim having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Bonifacio Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Calixto was the one to do the kick off. If Victor Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muñoz's Primitivo Maraman got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Primitivo Maraman off the ground. A collision led to Muñoz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Primitivo Maraman hit a great ball. Geronimo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alegre AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Bartoleme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Florencio Demario kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Alegre AFC got a corner. Muñoz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Cordero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luisito Joachim made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Victor Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. Bonifacio Bartoleme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Victor Bastiaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Luisito Joachim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Geronimo Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Victor Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alegre AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Victor Bastiaro made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Joachim. Muñoz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
