Gustavo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. A collision led to Sinsacote getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jaime Orzaize hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Nicanor Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Ralondo in the 31st minute of play forced Sinsacote's goalkeeper Valentin Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Mancio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Artemio Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinsacote. When Prospero Locaio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sinsacote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Locaio couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Eguzki hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sinsacote booed when La Tetera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Tetera's zone, Prospero Locaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Sadurni came out of the goal and Prospero Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nicanor Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Tetera's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Lertxun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Tipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Ralondo in the 44th minute of play forced Sinsacote's goalkeeper Valentin Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Lertxun to strike the kick off in the second half. La Tetera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Mancio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artemio Sadurni having to make a save. Maximiliano Illart charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Valentin Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Prospero Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot.
