The crowd rose to their feet as Tapas Athletic Club's Chucky Telechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Joey. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 37th minute Chucky Telechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Vase Linaa took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Cristian Joey to make any attempt to save it. The Metalmecanica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Joey should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vase Linaa to make the kick off. Vase Linaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Joey having to interfere. Nicasio Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vase Linaa in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Cristian Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chucky Telechea went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Metalmecanica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vase Linaa came free, but Cristian Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Vase Linaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metalmecanica FC's Cristian Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benigno Illart hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
