The Angostura AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Tabby should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Tabby having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Elias Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Itzaina struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Haroldo Tabby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinsacote. Angostura AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Locaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Sinsacote were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eriberto Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Sinsacote's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Nerio came free, but Valentin Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Angostura AFC booed when Sinsacote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Pitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Elias Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angostura AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Fernado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sinsacote succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Angostura AFC had controlled the match.
