River Plate's Joaquin Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Gipuzkoa in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Julio Rosario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Dominix. COMADREJAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Rosario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Joaquin Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Angelo Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. River Plate's Joaquin Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Gipuzkoa in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Tristan was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Feliz got free with Joaquin Jon in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Tristan in the 59th minute of the match. Ignacio Milian hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of River Plate booed when COMADREJAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, River Plate's Desiderio Abarca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The referee ignored COMADREJAS FC's protests and gave Silvano Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Silvano Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Sebastian Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Dominix. A collision led to COMADREJAS FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ignacio Milian hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in COMADREJAS FC's zone, Julio Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Dominix came out of the goal and Julio Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 88th minute of play forced COMADREJAS FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Dominix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, River Plate's Desiderio Abarca tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 92nd minute of play forced COMADREJAS FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Dominix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that River Plate were the better team. River Plate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
