Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Prospero Locaio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sebastian Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. Saul Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Eduardo Abadie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinsacote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate the free kick. After 10 played minutes Sinsacote got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Abadie. After having played for 12 minutes, Sebastian Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Tristan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Tristan in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Rosario got free with Valentin Tipi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Tipi came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Sebastian Tristan. But to his dismay, Sebastian Tristan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Locaio during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Prospero Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match River Plate got a corner. Sinsacote's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Desiderio Abarca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Sinsacote got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Orzaize. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Tristan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Tipi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Tristan in the 46th minute of the match. Sinsacote's Valentin Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 48th minute of play.

Julio Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Tipi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Julio Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. Guillermo Mancio in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Jon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Rosario in the 70th minute of play forced Sinsacote's goalkeeper Valentin Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julio Rosario came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Rosario couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
