Elias Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Santo Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Marcelino Tallia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Soubext CF's goalkeeper Santo Salbatore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by He Xi Hai. He Xi Hai struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Santo Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angostura AFC. He Xi Hai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Salbatore having to make a save. Lázaro Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Tabby having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Eleuterio Luken fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santo Salbatore, passed just outside the right post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Orlandus couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell He Xi Hai to make the kick off. The Angostura AFC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Angostura AFC's He Xi Hai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santo Salbatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Nerio's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Tallia during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante Hunfredo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hernan Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Angostura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Balasi came free, but Haroldo Tabby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
