An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 21st minute of play forced La Tetera's goalkeeper Artemio Sadurni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Julio Rosario notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Tetera's Artemio Sadurni. Melchor Lizer hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes La Tetera got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Urdin. In the 72nd minute Julio Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Sadurni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Jon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicanor Lertxun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 75 minute of play. Artemio Sadurni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Tristan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Julio Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Artemio Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Tristan in the 92nd minute of play forced La Tetera's goalkeeper Artemio Sadurni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Patricio Ur got a free kick in the 96th minute. La Tetera were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over River Plate's much stronger midfield.
