After 18 played minutes Club Atlético 420 got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Soin. In the 21st match minute, Club Atlético 420 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Iriondo's Fausto Quintan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moises Ferman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iriondo reached it. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético 420's Danilo Eladio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fausto Quintan, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Florentino Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Moises Ferman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Cheche in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Ferman saved Club Atlético 420 from getting behind. Adolfo Quinteros hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Moises Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Cheche in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Eladio got free with Moises Ferman in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jeremias Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Feliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Colas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Danilo Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Colas scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Feliu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Colas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Adolfo Quinteros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético 420 and the Iriondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atlético 420's Jeremias Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filomeno Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aristides Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Ferman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético 420 booed when Iriondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball.
