In the 7th minute Hernan Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Auberdine FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Modestio. After a defensive mix-up in Auberdine FC's zone, Elvio Lluciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lu Chang Wei came out of the goal and Elvio Lluciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Viyurka FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Higinio Bartuelo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Auberdine FC's zone, Higinio Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lu Chang Wei came out of the goal and Higinio Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Auberdine FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Auberdine FC's Placido Bermudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Marz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Emesto saved Viyurka FC from getting behind. When Higinio Bartuelo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viyurka FC's protests and gave Higinio Bartuelo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Viyurka FC's Higinio Bartuelo got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hernan Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auberdine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Emesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Auberdine FC booed when Viyurka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ihazintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Laureano Gentza sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Osvaldo Emesto threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Laureano Gentza this time. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Hernan Marz made the kick off in the second half. Auberdine FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Alfredo Suarez scored to the left of an out of position Lu Chang Wei, making the score, 1-1. When Hernan Marz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Auberdine FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Marz couldn't finish the play. Placido Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Emesto having to interfere. Alfredo Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lu Chang Wei having to interfere. Evelio Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Suarez in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. Osvaldo Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Hernan Marz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Emesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Marz ran back to his position shaking his head. Placido Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Osvaldo Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viyurka FC's Osvaldo Emesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Marz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th play minute Elvio Lluciano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lu Chang Wei. 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Auberdine FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
