Hilario Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicasio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Jerrald in the 20th minute of the match. Olaeta's Nicasio Rexino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Olaeta from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Dante Jerrald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicasio Rexino. Dante Jerrald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Angelino Urritz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olaeta! The goalkeeper, Nicasio Rexino, was totally fooled by Deportivo Gambeta's Adolfo Aresti, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hilario Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Deportivo Gambeta's Hilario Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Montxo in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Eloy Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Montxo got free with Hilario Pancho in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Montxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hilario Pancho made a huge save. With a little luck, Deportivo Gambeta's Hilario Pancho got control of the ball when Edgard Montxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Montxo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 66th playminute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Alejo Berdoi took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Hilario Pancho to make any attempt to save it. Olaeta's Basilio Quexal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hilario Pancho but with some difficulty.
